About Us
Johnson Family Child Care is a California State licensed, family-run home child care in La Puente focused on preparing children for school in a safe and loving environment.
Our Story
We started Johnson Family Child Care in 2004. Having raised our own family with a focus on education, we wanted to create a space where other children in our community could benefit from the same dedicated early learning foundation.
Health & Safety
At our child care, the health and safety of every child is our highest priority. We provide a clean and secure environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. Our staff follows strict health, hygiene, and safety procedures to help ensure the well-being of all children in our care. All staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) response.
Transportation
We offer transportation which includes pick-up and drop-off to numerous schools. Please call for more information.
Goverment Programs and Private Child Care Ages 0 - 13
We accept most government programs and state subsidized child care programs such as:
- California Alternative Payment Program (CAPP)
- CalWORKs Child Care - Stage 1 - Stage 2 - Stage 3
- Emergency Child Care Bridge Program for Children in Foster Care
- Head Start
- Options for Learning
- Pomona Unified School District Child Development (PUSD)
- Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) and more.
In addition to most programs, we also welcome and accept private child care. Please call for more information.
Food Program
We currently have the Options Food Program which provides two free meals with one snack for every child attending our child care.
